Technical School Scholarships

Foundation for Trades strives to bolster self-sufficiency through the promotion of education in building trades. We actively support underemployed individuals in cultivating robust skill sets encompassing construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, welding, and other sought-after trades.

To insure all are included, we offer limited scholarships tailored for those in need of financial aid, having demonstrating aptitude and a commitment to working in their chosen field post-graduation, while also meeting educational requirements. Award amounts are flexible and aimed at covering technical school expenses.

Prospective candidates are required to hold a high school diploma or GED, submit transcripts, a letter of recommendation, proof of acceptance to a trade school, and a 500 to 1,000-word essay articulating their motivation and need for financial assistance. Early applicants are given priority consideration.

Our Scholarship Goal

Through fundraising, donations, and grants, our goal is to provide full or partial scholarships to individuals every year. Scholarship amounts will depend on financial need and will be available to offset tuition. To qualify, the student must be enrolled in a registered trade school program.
